LeGarrette Blount suspended for the rest of the season

Oregon coach Chip Kelly and athletic director Mike Bellotti on suspending LeGarrette Blount for the rest of the season.

ESPN's Colege Gameday talks about the Blount suspension.

Lou Holtz and Mark May talk about the suspension of Blount.

This was the kind of message that Oregon needed to send. He may have lost his cool for a few seconds, but he makes Oregon and the NCAA look bad. He had gone the field during pregame and was shaking hands as part of the NCAA's attempt to promote good sportsmanship!

Good move by Oregon, showing that no player is above sportsmanship.
Bryon Hout should also get a suspension for taunting, as that is not good sportsmanship.

Video: LeGerrette Blount throws Puch after Ballgame

It was the start of the College Football season, and the huge game between Boise State and Oregon turned out to be a blowout of a match. However, the final score isn't what's being talked about. After the game, LeGerrette Blount took offense to something Bryon Hout said, and threw a punch at him.

ESPN's Mark Jones and Bob Davie talk about the actions of Blount.

New Oregon Head Coach Chip Kelly talks about the punch.

LeGerrette Blount talks about the punch.

I think, no doubt, the NCAA is going to come down hard on Blount. He is going to miss some time, either by the Head coach suspending him, or by the NCAA suspending him.

Report: Jets Want Brandon Marshall

It is obvious that Josh McDaniels is trying to replicate the success of Bill Bellichick in Denver. He wants a linebacker who can play inside and outside Linebacker.

The Jets are probably willing to make a deal for Brandon Marshall, because their recieving corps is a bunch of relative unknowns.
