Hours after Jarrod Washburn was traded to the Tigers, the White Sox pulled off a deal for a starter.
Jake Peavy has been traded from the Padres to the White Sox.
Peavy signed off on the deal this time around.
Clayton Richard, Adam Russell, Aaron Poreda, and Dexter Carter are heading to San Diego.

Jake is currently on the DL. If the deal is confirmed, the question for the White Sox becomes: When will Jake be able to pitch?

Baseball needs to release the names. Quit saying the list is under a Court seal. If it was, none of the names would have been leaked out! Just do the right thing and release all the names so baseball can move on from this black eye of an era.

Ronny Cedeno makes a return appearance to the NL Central.

The Pirates started trading players once they were only a few games out. They had no intention of being competitive this season.

Phillies Gearing Up For Another World Series Run

The Clevland Indians, for the Second Year in a row, have traded their ace.

The Indians traded Cliff Lee and outfielder Ben Francisco to the Philladelphia Phillies in exchange for pitcher Jason Knapp, pitcher Carlos Corrasco, shortstop Jason Donald, and catcher Lou Marson.

For two years straight, the Indians trade their ace. The Phillies didn't even get have to give up their premier pitching prospects like Kyle Drabek, who was being asked by the Blue Jays to get Roy Halladay.

The Phillies now have a rotation with Four Left Handers!

This is a steal for the Phillies as they are gearing up for another World Series run.
