Tom Brady Suspended Again

Tom Brady has been suspended the first four games of the upcoming NFL Season due to the perception that there was a deflated football during the AFC Championship Game. Or something of that effect.

"Deflategate" is stupid to me. Does air pressure truly make that much of a difference?

Yes, the NFL has rules on air pressure inside footballs. However, inside the Wells Report, there is no definitive evidence that Tom Brady did anything wrong!

I do believe four games is excessive, however Brady destroying his phone seems to have sealed his fate for a four game suspension.

Tom Brady is still a four time Super Bowl Champion Quarterback, and that cannot be taken away.

Will Golden State Repeat?

The Golden State Warriors have had the greatest season in NBA regular season history. Their 74 win campaign was incredible. They are currently battling the Oklahoma City Thunder in the Western Conference Finals. Stephen Curry has had long range all season, hitting over 400 three pointers before anyone else reached 300! When Curry is out, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green pick up the slack. This team is the defending NBA Champions! This campaign may be even more impressive than last season, especially if they repeat as Champions. Steve Kerr is an amazing head coach. I remember when he would be breaking down games on TNT with Marv Albert, and Kerr was able to analyze it in such a simple manner. It reminded me of how John Madden analyzed football.

Now that my Spurs are finished, I wouldn't be too mad if Golden State repeated.

MLB Wild Card Predictions

In the AL Wild Card game, The Houston Astros will match up against the New York Yankees.
In the NL Wild Card game, the Chicago Cubs travel to Pittsburgh to take on their NL Central rivals, the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Predictions: Yankees and Cubs will win these games.

The Cubs have their ace Jake Arrieta on the mound against Pittsburgh, and Arrietta then had the lowest second half ERA in MLB History, culminating in his no hitter against the Dodgers in Los Angeles. The Cubs may comprise a lineup almost full of lefties to counter Pittsburgh's Gerrit Cole. If the Cubs can keep Andrew McCutcheon off the bases and Pedro Alvarez in the ballpark, then they should be moving on to play the Cardinals in the NLDS.

The Astros and Yankees are both bringing their aces to the mound. Dallas Keuchel goes for the Astros against Masahiro Tanaka for the Yankees. The Astros faltered late in the AL West Race, but this team has a legit superstar at Shortstop in Carlos Correa. Correa batted .279 with 22 homeruns and 68 runs batted in.

This is New York's first postseason series without Derek Jeter in the lineup. Alex Rodriguez had a huge postseason in 2009. He will need to come through again if the Yankees are to win.  Yankees have a big bat in Carlos Beltran in the lineup, and Brian McCann is still one of the best catchers in baseball.
