I put the Patriots win total at 10 or more.
I agreed "Deflategate" was stupid, and I am not even a Patriots fan!
One week away from monster ratings for the Season Opener.....

In honor of Vin Scully returning to the Dodgers....
A real treat for Vin Scully fans everywhere. A kinescope of Game Seven of the 1965 World Series between the Dodgers and the Twins.
It was recently announced that Vin Scully will return to the Dodgers in 2016 for one final season. Scully has done Dodgers games since they were the Brooklyn Dodgers. Scully also did the 1984, 1986, and 1988 World Series for NBC.
Scully is a national treasure. He only does home games now, so the chance to hear him are winding down.
Thank you Vin, for one more season.

Who Did It Worst?
The Seventh Inning Stretch. It's a baseball tradition. If you have watched Cubs games on WGN, you know that their "guest conductors" for the stretch can be hit or miss.
Who did it worst?
Mike Ditka, former Bears player and Coach:
I vote Ozzy, by far.

Tom Brady & Deflategate
Tom Brady has been suspended the first four games of the upcoming NFL Season due to the perception that there was a deflated football during the AFC Championship Game. Or something of that effect.
"Deflategate" is stupid to me. Does air pressure truly make that much of a difference?
Yes, the NFL has rules on air pressure inside footballs. However, inside the Wells Report, there is no definitive evidence that Tom Brady did anything wrong!
I do believe four games is excessive, however Brady destroying his phone seems to have sealed his fate for a four game suspension.
Tom Brady is still a four time Super Bowl Champion Quarterback, and that cannot be taken away.

Joe Maddon to the Cubs?
Joe Maddon sudden resignation from the Tampa Bay Rays was stunning. After his friend General Manager Andrew Friedman left the Rays to head to the Los Angeles Dodgers, Maddon suddenly decided to use his opt out clause in his contract.
Where does Maddon go from here? How about the Chicago Cubs? The Cubs have a manager in Rick Renteria and the Cubs would have to pay a lot of money to make him go away. However, that is a small price to pay.
The Cubs have some of the best prospects in baseball, and Maddon knows how to get the best out of a young Rays team. Maddon is a two time AL manager of the year with the Rays.
In closing, do not put anything past Theo Epstein and Cubs GM Jed Hoyer.

Ranking the Potential World Series matchups
1. Royals vs Cardinals
The rematch of the 1985 World Series would be fun to watch.
2. Royals vs Giants
Would be a nice pitching duel of a World Series.
3. Orioles vs Cardinals
An offensive showdown between two hot offenses.
4. Orioles vs Giants
Nelson Cruz vs Brandon Belt. Two hot offenses with bad bullpens should lead to some exciting finishes.
